Musick Family Cemetery

Osage Township

Section 29, Township 41 North, Range 13 West

Miller County, MO.

From Tuscumbia take highways 17 and 52 cross the river bridge and continue around the first curve until you get to the exit for highway 52, which goes to the left and towards St. Elizabeth.   Once on Highway 52, go approximately 2.6 miles and turn left on Twin Creek Road.   Go 3.4 miles and you will be beside an old foundation on the right and you will want to park your vehicle here.    Cross the fence and head right in a southwesterly direction for about 690 feet up the hill until you get to the very top.     The cemetery lies at the crest and is easily seen once you get up the hill.   Three tiers of quarried rock and a very small gate surround it.   On top of the rock is a metal picket fence.   The fence is not very tall and it was necessary to climb over the small spikes to get into the cemetery.

This cemetery is no longer in use.

Personally inventoried by Dianna (Hale) Mattingly and Glenda (May) Crawford - April 19, 2002

Inventoried on Feb. 28, 2016 by Dianna (Hale) Mattingly, to get pictures, but I could not get inside.  However, I did get some pictures of the outside of the cemetery.  There was an electric fence put in place and I decided not to try to cross it.
